Polystyrene is a synthetic polymer also known as Styrofoam, they're widely used in construction due to its lightweight, insulating, and weather-resistant properties. It comes in two primary forms: Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) and Extruded Polystyrene (XPS), both of which serve various functions in modern construction projects.
Drywall and False/Suspended ceilings
Gypsum board, commonly known as drywall, plasterboard, or sheetrock, is a widely used construction material made from calcium sulfate dihydrate (gypsum) sandwiched between two layers of paper or fiberglass. Insulation
Sandwich panels are prefabricated composite panels, these panel have an insulating core that can either of polystyrene (EPS), polyurethane (PU), polyisocyanurate (PIR), or mineral wool. They can be used for walls, roofs, and partitions in buildings.
